This privacy policy explains how WebET sp. z o.o. processes personal data in connection with the webet.pl website, the contact form, the blog and our outreach to companies.
1. Administrator and contact
The administrator of the personal data processed in connection with the use of the webet.pl website and with communication with WebET is WebET sp. z o.o. Full registration details (registered office address, NIP and KRS numbers) are available on request at the contact address below.
For any matters concerning the protection of personal data, you can contact us by e-mail at office@webet.pl. We reply personally, without automated systems.
2. Contact form
When you send a message through the contact form on the site, we process the data you provide: your name, e-mail address, company name (if given) and the content of your message. We use this data solely to answer your inquiry and for any further correspondence on that matter.
The legal basis for processing is the performance of steps taken at your request prior to or under a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), and, to the extent the message does not lead to a contract, our legitimate interest in handling inquiries addressed to us (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We keep contact-form data for 12 months from the last exchange of correspondence on a given matter, after which we delete it, unless a longer retention period is required by law (e.g. tax regulations concerning concluded contracts).
3. Contact with companies
As part of our business development activities, we contact representatives of companies our offer may be relevant to. Data such as name, job title, business e-mail address and company name is obtained exclusively from publicly available sources — company websites, business registers and professional networking services.
The legal basis for processing is our legitimate interest in establishing business contact (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Under Poland's Electronic Communications Law (Prawo komunikacji elektronicznej), we do not send commercial information without the recipient's consent — that is why the first message you receive is a short request for consent to present an offer, not an offer itself.
Every message includes a link to opt out of further contact, usable without logging in anywhere. If you decline or do not reply, the data is anonymised within 12 months. We keep only a hash of the e-mail address, solely to permanently honour the objection and avoid contacting you again. Consents we receive are logged together with the date and the content of the message as evidence of their being obtained.
4. Blog and website
webet.pl does not use analytics or tracking cookies and does not embed tracking pixels. The only cookies we use are technically necessary session cookies required for the site to function correctly (e.g. maintaining the form session).
Fonts on the site are loaded from Google Fonts servers. This means your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address. We state this openly so you know what happens when the page loads.
5. Recipients of data
Data is stored on servers located in the European Union, with our hosting provider Hetzner (Germany/Finland).
For sending e-mail we use an e-mail delivery provider (SendGrid, part of the Twilio group), which may process data outside the European Economic Area under standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, ensuring an adequate level of data protection.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it rectified or erased, to restrict its processing, to object to its processing and to data portability, to the extent provided for by the GDPR.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (PUODO — Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych) if you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law.
To exercise the above rights, write to us at office@webet.pl. We respond to your request within 30 days at the latest.
7. Changes to this policy
We may periodically update this privacy policy, in particular in connection with changes in the law or in the scope of services we provide. The current version is always available on this page, and the date of the last update is stated at the top.
